It's Yig Eniiggugobb!! _{Though I've typed that last name only once}
One of my RP characters. He's one of the crow-like inhabitants of Ni'Igath, the upper city of Probethor.


I started a drawing a while way back, but except for his head, he looked like crap (even though, except for his head, he was only a rough sketch of the most basic lines), so I started over again, today and five hours later, here we have Yig again.
The bird-like form was inspired by the inhabitants of Oneiros in Clive Barker's Undying video game. I had imagined Probethor to be like that Oneiros from the start of RP-ing (a floating bunch of ruins in another dimension/on another plane. Also kind of like when the Esher-like place falls apart at the end of the Labyrinth movie), so it was an obvious thing. Only Yig's character deviated from the inhabitants of Oneiros and so did his appearance in my mind. It made him look more like a were-raven of bird-man, I must admit, but I still like how he turned out.

All of Probethor was once enslaved by the Lliszeans, and soon after Isobe met Avlyn, Yig came to warn that Clavicurth, the Lliszeans' mother brain type thing, had weakened and needed defeating. Isobe had searched for the Power of Probethor before, and had it almost for the taking now... He had now fallen in love with Avlyn, however, and needed to stay with her and fight alongside her Elves against the Orcs. Yig fought too, in this battle. And the power of Avlyn and Isobe's love was so big that eventually it drove the Lliszeans to the underside of Probethor. Yig came back to tell Isobe the news (after he'd gone home at the end of the battle against the Orcs), though he thought the evil forces had been defeated... and became a dear friend of their family, returning many more times over the years.

This is Yig with what's probably his armour from his own people, he wore a mithril chain mail shirt, battling the Orcs, though it is one of Isobe's swords he got for the Orc battle. He became kind of a mayor of a district of Ni'Igath, after the disappearance of the Lliszeans & rebuilding their society, and he is a leader of a band of warriors at Clavicurth's revival, six years later (where he returned to help Isobe live his destiny, defeating Clavicurth, gaining the Power of Probethor and saved his father's soul (who had come to Probethor in search of his son, when he first went in search of the Power of Probethor & disappeard for centuries into the oceans in his fish form.))
