Yo ho! Here I be notin' on th' unfair representation of ninjas over pirates in deviantArt emoticons. Thar be but two piratey emotes available against at least fifteen ninjas...! Yaaarrrrr 's hardly a fair fight, says I.
Avast! Now 'ere be th' start o' me share o' pirate emoticons to broaden the selection to possibly be added as official dA emotes. I be really likin' th' tricorne hat I quickly made (pointing down at first), but thought there could be more done wit' it... Arrr...! so I made two more versions, level and pointing up, and a smiley under it looking up... further inspired by our favourite : evillaugh: this be resultant... a pirate happily swingin' 'is cutlass... Tharrr be a bicorne wearin' pirate capt'n, a cannon and TREASURE under development... an' who be knowin' what more I be coming up with as I work on on those...? (suggestions be welcome, tho) ·.·´¯X¯`·.,.·---o.o---·.,.·´¯X¯`·.· Here I was complaining about the under-representation of pirates under ninjas in deviantArt emoticons. Now I've started on my share in broadening the selection of pirate emotes to possibly be added as official dA emotes (though previously unplanned when I talked about animated emoticons with the other set) I was quite happy with how the tricorne but made two more to show a pointing-up-y animation... added an : evillaugh:-inspired smiley (including golden tooth) and a slashing sword... (Oooooooh... and I finally found the animation preview function in the GIMP!! Yaaayy for me!!) I've made a bicorne captain's hat and a cannon already ...and will be working on animations for those (other suggestions are welcome, though) |
